The specific context of Teulada´s street market is that years ago, the city councial promise traders, they will do a better street market for them in a new place with a lot of improvements. Nowadays , the reality is that they haven´t do it, and one of the consecuence is the actual image of the empty structure.

*Empty structure of the street market was created for be a police station.

2-MATERIALS                     5                 The main aspect which is going to affect the project is that i have to create a low cost strategy,thinking how can i make money for pay all the phases, and the final decision is use ADVERTISING , dressing the structure as main material.

 

3-PROJECT & STREET MARKET4

The idea is guarantee that te intervention, improve the economical situation of traders,then when consumers buy something, they will get weekly access with and identification for use de structure all the week.

5-DESIGN DECISIONS

Model                   Advertising will “dress” the structure giving an atractive visual of the intervention, and a new urban image. The configuration of the advertising it´s going to create diferent situation inside the structure, for create an interesting and comfortable place to the people will use it.

 

 

 

 

 

8a                             Today ,people and cars use the same access, but i want to change it. The structure have a facade infront the street, and it is going to be de main acces for people, through the structure, for make they see what is happening inside.

 

 

 

 

8B                      The barter market will need much spaces as posible, so i create a second floor in frot the way for access to the street market, then  people can show everybody what they want swap and have enought space for it.

 

 

8C                       The green area will be the place for access through the structure, is not a place for stay, there will happen the people movement, the relation, and interaction with traders of the barter market. The blue area will have diferent spaces for stay and enjoy a good public space in direct relation with street market
